End of Summer Primary Activity

The Primary Activity was at the Laudie's home.  They live on 5 acres, have a huge garden, raise chickens and goats, and even have a pond.  As a part of teaching the children about another culture,  Lavon Tonga, a counselor in the Primary Presidency, from Tonga, taught the girls the hula and the boys learned the haka.

Here's Spencer doing the Haka (back row green plaid shirt).  They even made the bishop jump in there and try (in the baseball cap).  I was told not to show the video, but it was very cool.

We all took turns going on a hayride around the property, where Brother Laudie told them about the Temple Rock, the Sacred Grove, King Benjamin's sermon from the tower, the birth of Christ in a humble stable, and Nephi baptizing in the Waters of Mormon.  It was awesome!
There were also games: a potato sack race, kickball, and a toilet paper toss.  The final treat - popsicles!  A good time was had by all. (See the thumbs up below).
